No more guns for Pa. House security guards

Pennsylvania’s capitol building already has a police unit, but the House of Representative and the Senate each have their own guards.

The Senate guards don’t carry firearms, and now the House guards won’t either.

CBS3 reports the House guards have been disarmed after it was discovered one of the guards had hidden a criminal record. It’ll be entirely up to the Capitol Police now to draw firearms should the need arise.
