No Libs stabbings

Authorities in Philadelphia are searching for a man who stabbed one man to death and critically injured another at separate intersections north of the center of the city.

Police said a 56-year-old man was pronounced dead just before 6 p.m. Monday after he was stabbed once in the chest in the Northern Liberties area. A 31-year-old man who was stabbed in the neck nearby was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Authorities said the motive for the attacks was unclear and the suspect remained at large.
