Nine area hospitals share American Heart Association grant

    Nine hospitals in the Philadelphia area will share $15 million in grants from the American Heart Association, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports.

    Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University, Main Line Health Heart Center and the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research, Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, Temple University, Thomas Jefferson University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Delaware  and the Wistar Institute will be honored tonight for their cardiovascular advancements.
