NFL wants concussion lawsuits heard in Philadelphia

More than 100 former NFL players have filed concussion suits against the league seeking damages for their injuries and side effects, but before any of it plays out in court, there first has to be a location.

The NFL wants the lawsuits consolidated in Philadelphia court instead of going through the process in several districts, as the Associated Press reports.

Multiple lawsuits from former players accuse the NFL of concealing links between football and brain injuries, while the NFL contends it looks out for players’ safety.
