The website includes details of crimes and criminals and may intrigue fans of TV shows like COPS,

COPS Theme: Bad Boys, Bad Boys what you gonna do…

Citizens who go to the website can check out photos and send tips to law enforcement with the click of a button, or a phone call.

Police Department Captain Len Ditchkofsky says tips are valuable in crime-fighting.

    Ditchkofsky:
We right now in Philadelphia have a 100% clearance rate on our bank robberies so far this year due mainly to citizen tips on websites like this and putting their pictures on tv.  So this a great tool.  The more access the public has the better.

Citizens who want to start helping the Police and FBI crack cases can go to www.phillybandits.com.
