Mummifying

    As the city gears up for the 110th Mummers Parade, steps to make the day family friendly are being taken to encourage more attendance. The city will provide six locations for performance viewing with accompanying restrooms, entertainment and food.

    Broad and Shunk streets, Broad and Wolf streets, Broad Street and Washington Avenue, Broad and Pine streets, Broad and Sansom streets and 15th and Market streets are designated performance zones where families can bring their children and watch the festivities from the bleachers. 

    Those hoping to sit in he bleacers at the City Hall Grand Stand Entertainment Zone at 15th and Market streets will have to pay $19 per person. The parade begins at 10 a.m. with performances throughout the day.
