Batter up! Learn how to play an old fashioned game of baseball from the Philadelphia Athletic Vintage Baseball Club. The event will showcase a local 1860s team, the Mt. Airy Stars.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on Monday July 30 on the lawn of the campus of New Covenant Church, located at 7500 Germantown Avenue. This “Vintage Baseball Exhibition” will be guided by the Philadelphia Athletic Vintage Baseball Club who will teach participants the game as it was played in 1864.
