Mt. Airy
The city’s favorite street food festival, Night Market, returns to Germantown Avenue in Mt. Airy this week! Come celebrate the city’s diverse food scene and enjoy local crafts and live entertainment!
The Night Market will be held on Thursday Aug. 16 from 6 to 10 p.m. on Germantown Ave. between Carpenter Ln. and Mt. Airy Avenue.
The event, hosted by The Food Trust and Mt. Airy USA, will be twice as big as the 2011 event, featuring more than 40 food trucks and restaurants serving the city’s best ethnic and regional American street eats.
Admission is free, but attendees can help support the Mt. Airy Night Market by purchasing a $35 Friends of Mt. Airy Night Market Pass. Pass holders receive reserved seating at Lovett Park (at Germantown Avenue and Sedgwick Street) and free drinks provided by Yards Brewery, Philadelphia Distilling and Penns Woods Winery and support programming from Mt. Airy USA and The Food Trust. Go to www.gomtairy.com for tickets.
