More dead fish turn up in Delaware County
Two days after 1,000 dead fish were found in Ridley Park Lake, more turned up in Delaware County’s Crum Creek.
A regular fisher there found 15 to 20 dead fish Monday when he took his raft to a spot along Yale Avenue.
As was the case with Saturday’s incidents, the Department of Environmental Protection found no abnormalities in its initial report. Oxygen, pH and chlorine levels didn’t reveal anything unusual, the Delaware County Daily Times reports.
Whatever killed the fish could be long gone, and everything appeared normal in the creek Tuesday.
