Missing woman with Alzheimer’s found unharmed

Authorities in Hunterdon County say a missing woman with Alzheimer’s disease has been found unharmed.

County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns III says 71-year-old Nancy Hogan was found shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday, about a half-mile away from her home on Kubin Court in Lebanon Township. She was hospitalized in stable condition, but further details were not disclosed.

Kearns said Hogan had walked away from her home around 8 p.m. Friday. She’s described as being in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and unable to communicate.

Several agencies were involved in the extensive search, and the county utilized its reverse 911 system to notify residents about Hogan’s disappearance and seek their help in locating her.
