Mild winter prompts early bloom

It’s that time of year when the daffodils and magnolias bloom and pollen fills the air.  At least it feels like that time of year, even though it’s still technically winter for another couple of weeks.

What types of flowers or plants are blooming already in your garden or neighborhood?Tell us in the comments below.

The region’s incredibly mild winter has prompted an early bloom from much of the region’s plant life.  Our producer, Shai Ben-Yaacov, sat down with Anthony Aiello, Director of Horticulture at Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia to talk about what the region’s plant life could look like in the coming years.
