Young writers take to museum steps for world record

    The Democratic National Convention and related protests are not the only gatherings in town springing up as we near the election of our next president. On Tuesday, potentially thousands of young writers will convene on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to tackle the topic, “If I Were President …”

    Tim Whitaker, event organizer and executive director of Mighty Writers, a Philadelphia literacy nonprofit, joined NewsWorks Tonight’s Dave Heller to discuss the world record attempt.
