There’s something even more unique about today’s mid-afternoon block party in Center City. It’s bicycle-powered.
Clothing stores Aphillyated Apparel and Verde Styles are working with Temple University and Hewlett-Packard to host a 3 p.m. block party at the PHS pop-up garden at 20th and Market streets.Geekadelphia reports four bicycle generators will be set up for people to pedal to help fuel the DJ and lighting equipment. Bike shorts not included.
