In a direct and gutsy violation of the very memo in question, someone posted a notice from the School District of Philadelphia on the Public School Notebook’s website. The memo reminds employees to not leak information about the district.
Sent yesterday, the note says: “A School District employee shall not disclose confidential information concerning property, personnel matters, or affairs of the District or its employees, without proper authorization.”
Suspension and dismissal are among the penalties for violating the guidelines.
