    Megan Pinto is the local NewsWorks editor for Manayunk, Roxborough and East Falls. She joined the WHYY news team in 2007 as a producer and reporter for the former nightly TV news program, “Delaware Tonight.”

    Her work has taken her to the 2008 political primary in New Hampshire, the 2008 Vice Presidential debate in Missouri and the 2009 Presidential Inauguration in Washington D.C. She has produced several award-winning reports for WHYY, from the story of an innovative art therapy program to the profile of a 90-year-old marathon runner.

    The Connecticut native graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Communication. As a four-year resident of Manayunk, Megan looks forward to covering the issues, people and events that make her surrounding neighborhoods special.
