Martin Luther King students follow through with walkout

Following today’s student walkout at Martin Luther King High School, the School District says it will hold participating students accountable. The Public School Notebook published a message from the district saying that while the district values students’ opinions, a walkout isn’t the answer.

The walkout was staged in response to impending changes as part of the school’s new Renaissance Match School label.
