Ever wonder how Earth Day came about? This Sunday, learn the history and more at the Laurel Hill Cemetery.

During the event, atendees will  learn the history of the day and learn more about the arboretum as they identify  bird species, trees and horticultural specimens that populate the site. Atendees are encouraged to bring binoculars. Tickets are $8 per person or $5 for members. They can be purchased at the door, on the website, or by calling (215) 228-8200.

The Laurel Hill Cemetery was the first garden cemetary in the United states boasting 78 acres of green land in the middle of the city.
