Mark your calendars for the FOW Volunteer Training Session at the end of this month.
The Friends of the Wissahickon is in need of volunteers to be a part of a park survey of the Wissahickon Valley.
Volunteers will work in pairs while in the park, participating in three-hour sessions twice a month through the end of February, 2012.
FOW is holding an information session on Wednesday, November 30 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the FOW office, located at 8708 Germantown Ave.
