Every Wednesday night during the summer you’re invited to practice your whitewater paddling skills with the PCC.
The weekly event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and run through 8:30 p.m. at the PCC Clubhouse, located at 4900 Ridge Ave.
Organizers say participants meet at the clubhouse, collect gear and then shuttle up to the Flat Rock park put in. You’ll then get the chance to paddle back over the next four miles of Class I/II whitewater as quickly or as leisurely as you like and as daylight allows.
The cost is $5 for ACA per season or a $10 flat gear rental fee.
