Man charged with throwing hot coffee at store clerk waives hearing

    Remember that guys in West Philly we all watched throw hot coffee on a store clerk?

    Police surveillance video, which has since been removed from the department’s YouTube page, showed David Timbers exchange words with a donut shop worker and then toss his hot coffee at her in disgust.

    Timbers was a little more remorseful in a court appearance today, where CBS3 reports he waived his preliminary hearing.

    Charged with aggravated assault, Timbers is out on bail and due back in court June 20.
