Malvern Prep rowing team dedicates boat to fallen soldier
Malvern Preparatory School will honor a fallen soldier and extended family member today when the rowing team dedicates a new boat to Sgt. Brandon C. Bury.
The 26-year-old marine was a cousin of Malvern senior and rowing team captain Austin Bury. Brandon Bury died last June while on duty in Afghanistan.
Alumni, family and friends will join the team and Malvern Prep administrators at noon today at the Schuylkill River boathouse to christen a quadruple scull in Bury’s honor.
