Major push for gay marriage planned in Delaware

The advocacy group that won passage of same-sex civil unions in Delaware plans to make a major push for same-sex marriage in the state.

The News Journal reports that Equality Delaware is ramping up its campaign for full marriage equality with meetings in New Castle and Sussex counties.

A meeting is set for tonight in Wilmington and Thursday evening in Rehoboth Beach.

Wilmington attorney Lisa Goodman, who is president of Equality Delaware, says 2013 is the right time for same-sex marriage in the state.
