Magazine snubs Philly in list of best foodie cities

In an apparent conspiracy against Philadelphia, you won’t find our city — which happens to be in the middle of a little thing called Restaurant Week — on Travel + Leisure’s “Best Cities for Foodies” list.

This from the magazine whose voters listed us as dirty and rude, but happened to love our pizza. The Business Journal calls the move “patently ridiculous.”

New Orleans came in at No. 1, which we have no beef with. Along with the usual suspects of other large U.S. cities, Charleston, S.C., and Providence, R.I., also made the list. So did San Juan, Puerto Rico.
