This Valentines day, creative weddings abound

    Here in the city of brotherly love, couples are pledging themselves to each other in a creative way today:

    Six couples will say “I do” at the Reading Terminal Market at noon. The biggest perk to such a public wedding? A complimentary dessert reception.

    An adventurous couple got married on the elevated train as it passed by dozens of love-themed rooftop murals. The subway car was packed with friends and relatives and festooned with white garlands. Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter performed the ceremony.

    Love is in the air outside of Philly, too:

    In Atlantic City today it’s the fourth annual “Valentine’s Day Group Wedding, Civil Union and Vow Renewal Ceremony.” It’ll include over 100 registered couples from 12 states and the District of Columbia and featuring cake, champagne and entertainment.
