Local school districts ranked

    Five school districts in the Philadelphia area have ranked in the top 10 for their scores of the Pennsylvania School of Assessment Exams.

    That’s according to a survey by Philadelphia Business Journal sister publication the Pittsburgh Business Times. 

    The Philadelphia-region districts in the top 10 were:

    • Tredyffrin-Easttown School District in Chester County (No. 2 ).

    • Unionville-Chadds Ford School District (No. 3).

    • Radnor Township School District in Delaware County (No. 4).

    • Lower Merion School District in Montgomery County (No. 7).

    • Central Bucks School District in Bucks County (No. 8). 

    The Philadelphia School District ranked No. 484. The No. 1 district was Upper St. Clair in Allegheny County.
