Light showers are likely ahead of a cold front that will pass through the Jersey Shore later today.

Forecasters expect the activity to begin at the Jersey Shore during the mid-afternoon hours and last through the evening.

Precipitation amounts will be relatively limited, with less than a tenth of an inch during the afternoon and early evening hours and between a tenth and a quarter of an inch tonight.

High temperatures will top out around 60 degrees.
