Legal troubles delay planned expansion of Sugarhouse casino
A civil suit between some of the local owners of Philadelphia’s Sugarhouse Casino and the majority owner, Chicago billionaire, Neil Bluhm have left pending plans for expansion up in the air.
According to CBS3, a spokesman for Bluhm “would not comment on the dispute, except to say all matters regarding the expansion are on hold pending the outcome of the suit.”
The expansion plans were to include a new seven-story parking garage and an additional 40,000 square feet of gaming floor.
