For the first time in his 50-year career, Ted Prior won’t be performing in Ocean City New Year’s Eve. The Elvis impersonator has an aggressive cancer that will cause him to miss the show.

Prior, who’s performed almost 10,000 shows in South Jersey, has cancer throughout his body and brain, the Associated Press reports. But the 67-year-old hopes he’ll be well enough to resume his appearances in the spring.
