Lawyers announce another suit against the Archdiocese for abuse cover-up
A group of lawyers today will announce a suit against the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, former Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua and Cardinal Justin Rigali alleging the archdiocese concealed the abuse of a Catholic student by his pastor.
The victim alleges he was abused by his pastor at Our Lady of Calvary Church between 1994 and 2000. Along with the victim, attorneys Marci Hamilton, Dan Monahan and Jeff Anderson, will speak at a press conference this afternoon.
