Kermit Gosnell returns to court, students get meeting with PNC officials
Good morning, Feeders, and happy Monday!
We’ve got a big day in court.
Taunya English will have details on the afternoon hearing for Kermit Gosnell. The West Philadelphia abortion doctor returns to court on the federal drug charges that led to the discovery of alleged illegal practices at his clinic.
Monsignor William Lynn is also in court today. Charged with endangering children by transferring alleged sexually abusive priests, Lynn will ask that evidence at his trial is connected only to the three priests accused in a grand jury report of child sexual abuse, and not to the accusations made about other priests. Lizz Fiedler will have the details for us on that.
Maiken Scott has the story behind Penn Alexander School and why parents lined up in the snow over the weekend to get their kids into kindergarten there.
Dave Davies will take a look at the South Carolina Republican presidential primary results and tell us how the turnout could affect the Pennsylvania primary this spring.
And Emma Jacobs will talk to students from Penn and Temple who are finally getting their meeting with PNC Bank officials about mountaintop removal.
