Kensington home searched after dead dogs found in back yard
The Pennsylvania SPCA is searching a Philadelphia home after an unreported number of dead dogs were found in the back yard.
The agency’s Humane Law Enforcement officers executed a search warrant at the property in the 1800 block of East Cornwall Street near Kensington Avenue, according to Inquirer reporters.
The SPCA found several dead pit bull breeds as well as a bag stuffed with dead puppies.
ABC 6 adds that at least one live dog was found in the yard.
Humane Law Enforcement officers are investigating a possible link to animal fighting. There is no word yet on any suspects or arrests in this case.
