Katz’s 10 steps to world class recognition

    Is Philadelphia a world-class city? Could it be? Sam Katz and the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia think we’re on the right track.
    Katz, a man of many hats, outlined his list of 10 steps toward world-class recognition on today’s Philly Post.

    Some, like boosting fine arts and asking the eds & meds community to step it up, are obvious solutions. But then there are things like infrastructure and heritage — the changes that need to happen within.

    It all leads up to the grand event: our nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026. Katz suggests Philadelphia host a Centennial-style party. Are we ready?
