In June, U.S. service companies’ growth stunted

U.S. service companies, which employ roughly 90 percent of the U.S. workforce, grew in June at the slowest pace in nearly two and a half years.

Frank Newport, editor-in-chief at the Gallup Poll, explains how that news weighs on the minds of voters in this week’s “What Are We Thinking?” segment with NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller.

Newport also discusses why voter confidence for the U.S. economy is down in the dumps and which candidate voters would most likely cast their vote for if the presidential election were held today.
