The Philadelphia Media Network today will launch One Great Idea, a web and print element designed to engage readers of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com.
One Great Idea debuts today, with Mayor Michael Nutter proposing the idea of graduation coaches to help boost high school and college graduation rates.
Appearing each Tuesday online and Wednesday in the Inquirer, One Great Idea will solicit proposals from well- and lesser-known Philadelphians and encourage reader engagement.
The series ends Nov. 11, “when the best ideas will be evaluated by readers and editors of the Network,” says a release from the Philadelphia Media Network.
