Hundreds of Philadelphia homes lose power after transformer fire

    Hundreds of homes are without power this morning in Northeast Philadelphia after a transformer fire sparked near the 1900 block of Goodnaw Street.

    CBS3 reports the transformer fire knocked out power to homes near 1900 Nestor Place and Bustleton.

    According to the PECO outage map, at least 1,500 homes are without power.

    CBS3 reports PECO crews are now working to restore power to the homes.
