Holocaust survivor with Narberth ties given White House award

    Not only did Gerda Weissmann Klein survive the Holocaust, she’s used her life experiences to create programs designed to promote tolerance and freedom. The namesake of Narberth’s Gerda and Kurt Klein Foundation was honored for her tireless efforts when she was presented with a Medal of Freedom Tuesday at the White House.
