High school cancels homecoming dance to avoid last year’s wild dancing

This year’s homecoming dance at Princeton High School will be a little light on dancing. Very light. As in none at all.

A few bad apples from last year’s dance soured it for the whole bunch, prompting the school to pick an alternative homecoming activity: a movie and a bonfire.

Provocative dancing at last year’s event made the chaperones uncomfortable, so student council came up with a new idea.

And so far, everyone who spoke with the Times of Trenton seems to be looking forward to the change. The schools’ prom and cotillion are still on for later this year, so students can make chaperones uncomfortable then.
