Help Stamp Out Hunger

The National Association of Letter Carriers “Stamp Out Hunger” is the nation’s largest one-day food drive and it’s less than a week away.

On May 14 residents are encouraged to place a bag containing nonperishable food next to their mailbox, which letter carriers will pick-up when they deliver the mail.

The collected food will be taken to the food bank, sorted and distributed to more than 140 nonprofits with food banks, pantries and shelters that serve children, families, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
