Hearings delays for PSU administrators charged with perjury

The hearing for two Penn State administrators charged with perjury has been delayed, and no reason has been given.

Athletic Director Tim Curley and retired Vice President Gary Schultz will appear in court Dec. 16, the Associated Press reports. That’s three days after accused child sexual abuser Jerry Sandusky has his preliminary hearing.

Curley and Schultz were originally due in court Dec. 6. They’re charged with lying to the grand jury during the investigation into abuse claims against Sandusky, the former assistant football coach, and with failing to report a 2002 allegation against Sandusky to authorities.
