Happy ending

Neighbors in Ridley Township have been working to get a stray kitten out of a tree — since before Christmas. After several attempts by the Secane residents to rescue the cat, which resulted in it climbing further into the tree, Walter Bolich of Walt’s Tree Service was successful early last evening. The Delaware County Times reports the cat stayed in the tree through the recent blizzard, and will be given to the SPCA if neighbors can’t find a suitable home.
