A major traffic issue this morning on a key thoroughfare:

Southbound lanes of Interstate 95 are closed following a tractor-trailer crash in Philadelphia.

The crash happened early this morning on a stretch of the highway north of Center City when a tractor trailer jackknifed.

Motorists traveling south must exit at Academy Road and take a detour to Cottman Avenue to re-enter the highway.

There’s no immediate word on when it will reopen.
