Greenfest Philly offers giveaways, music, organic food and more

    Learn what it means to “go green” at the Clean Air Council’s sixth annual Greenfest Philly, today, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Headhouse Square.

    There, you will be able to ride the new Chevy volt, check out local and organic food vendors and business, and experience hourly surprise “Green Giveaways,” including t shirts, reusable water bottles, vegan cheese, Phillies Go Green pins and rally towels, and more.

    There were also be a live DJ providing music for the entire day. A Kid’s Korner will be present, offering hands-on activites and multiple different kids’ crafts. 

    Be sure to bring E-waste and other recycling materials. They will be collected at the event.
