Gloucester County releases ‘Hurricane Survival Guide’

Gloucester County’s Office of Emergency Management has put together a “Hurricane Survival Guide,”  and it’s available for download.

“Preparedness is the best tool our residents can have in any emergency situation, so we urge our residents to take a few minutes and read the guide and get their plans in place,” said Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert Damminger in a story on

The guide is hosted on the Gloucester County website. It offers tips, resources and checklists so that residents can be prepared, in case of emergencies. Readers can find a call list of emergency numbers, hazard explanations on storm surges, tornadoes and rip currents; and information on protecting pets and mobile home safety.
