Gloucester County releases ‘Hurricane Survival Guide’

Gloucester County’s Office of Emergency Management has put together a “Hurricane Survival Guide,”  and it’s available for download.

“Preparedness is the best tool our residents can have in any emergency situation, so we urge our residents to take a few minutes and read the guide and get their plans in place,” said Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert Damminger in a story on NJ.com.

The guide is hosted on the Gloucester County website. It offers tips, resources and checklists so that residents can be prepared, in case of emergencies. Readers can find a call list of emergency numbers, hazard explanations on storm surges, tornadoes and rip currents; and information on protecting pets and mobile home safety.
