Germantown City Hall Events Through June 9

    A full schedule of events will be held this weekend as part of Hidden City Philadelphia’s reopening of Germantown Town Hall, 5928 Germantown Avenue.

     

    Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, at 3pm in the Rotunda: Artist Walkthrough with Jacob Wick

    Saturday, June 8, 12:30pm in the Rotunda: Photographing Germantown’s Human Assets – Germantown Soccer Club. Germantown Photographers capture community portraits in the Rotunda of Germantown City Hall over the course of the festival.

    Saturday, June 8, 1pm in the Rotunda: Photographing Germantown’s Human Assets – Germantown Life Enrichment Center Board.

    Saturday, June 8, 5pm in the Rotunda: Photographing Germantown’s Human Assets – Mastery/Pickett Community Garden Board.

    Sunday, June 9, 1pm in the Workshop: Building a Support for Learning. The Think Tank, together with YahNe Ndgo Baker, will facilitate a structured conversation and design session about education and the space of learning. Using participatory design tools, they will gather and visualize interlocking and varied models for learning — from public school to home/unschool to life-long learning and continuing ed, and beyond.
