The Philadelphia Canoe Club is giving you the opportunity to learn how to kayak with training from the experts.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., the Philadelphia Canoe Club will host an introduction class to recreational kayaking at the PCC Clubhouse, located at 4900 Ridge Ave., in Philadelphia.
Organizers say the class, which will be conducted on the Schuylkill River, is designed for students with little or no formal kayak training. The class will include basic strokes, safety and rescue on flat moving water.
