GERM no more
GERM, Fishtown’s sci-fi bookstore, will close its doors at the end of the month after a six-year run. GERM Books & Gallery pushed through the 2007 death of its co-founder Jennifer Bates, but will shut down for good come Jan. 31. The store will continue with its scheduled events through the end of the month. Philebrity has an obit of sorts the neighborhood establishment.
