Former AstraZeneca employee, contractor charged

    The Delaware attorney general’s office says a former AstraZeneca employee and a contractor have been charged with billing the company for $400,000 in improvement’s to the employee’s home.

    Attorney General Beau Biden announced the charges Tuesday against the former employee, 45-year-old Mitchell E. Guard, and 55-year-old David Ragolia.

    Guard was a project manager at the company’s headquarters and Ragolia was a site manager at the headquarters. Biden’s office says both are charged with felony theft of more than $100,000 by fraud and felony conspiracy and face up to 17 years.
