Flood Advisory issued for portion of Ocean County this afternoon

    A flood advisory is in effect for a portion of Ocean County until 6:15 p.m.

    As of 3:15 p.m., heavy rain continues to fall in the east central portion of the county, radar indicates.

    The National Weather Service expect minor flooding, especially in the Lavallette and Seaside Heights area. 

    Radar estimates that two to three inches of rain may have already occurred, with more on the way.
