Flash Flood Warning issued for parts of Philadelphia and South Jersey

A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for parts of Salem, Cumberland, Gloucester, Delaware and Montgomery counties, as well as the western parts of Philadelphia.

The heavy rain and saturated conditions led the National Weather Service to issue the warning, which is in effect until 11:15 a.m.

“Flooding is occurring or is imminent,” reads the warning. “Most flood-related deaths occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges…  dips… or low water crossings. Turn around… don’t drown!”
