The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has named five Atlantic City residents to volunteer positions with the city’s tourism district committee.
Fifty-nine applicants became 15, and the five selections were voted on today.
Representatives from the CRDA, city and county governments, Casino Association of New Jersey and Greater Atlantic City Chamber will fill out the 10-member committee, which is charged with guiding development in the district.
The Press of Atlantic City has bios on the five resident volunteers, who range in age from 35 to 81 and have backgrounds or interest in tourism, marketing, resort management, financial planning and strategy or community and economic development. The first public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at the CRDA office on Atlantic Avenue.
